The 8112A board is a multiplexer, which converts 12 channels from 0... to +10V into a DMX control signal.
The card accepts a wide supply voltage range, which makes it ideally suited as retrofit card for old analog desks.
Due to its small size, mounting the card within a desk should not be a problem.
Features:
- small pcb, easy to install
- simple power suplly, internally stabilized
- no microprocessor, high speed
WIRING
Wiring of the card is simple, as it accepts any supply voltage from 8 to 24V, both DC or AC.
Simply connect a potential-free low voltage transformer to the PSU terminals to make the card work.
When using power supply from the host desk, DC supply may be used via the flat ribbon cable,
or you may power attached circuitry from the multiplexer pcb.
Pin assignment of the ribbon connector is as follows:
1 : +5V DC output ( test, supply of attached circuitry)
2 : +8 to 24V DC input power supply, max. 150 mA
3 : GND power supply
4 : GND input signal
5 : channel 1
6 : channel 2
...
16 : channel 12
START ADDRESS
