DMX BY IBM PC
A simple and universal solution for controlling lighting. The card fits into any standard IBM PC 8-bit ISA-slot.
Virtually no hardware requirements. The card can be operated with any processor, from a 286 through a 386 and a 486 to Pentium.
The card has its own microprocessor, DMX output is generated with maximum speed and does not load the host cpu.
The 1512B supports 512 DMX channels. The DMX output is fully galvanically isolated, protecting the units connected
to the DMX line, and your computer. |
DMX OPERATING SYSTEM
Just like your PC, the DMX card runs fully software-based: the card's operating system (DOS-DMX operating system)
is being transferred into the card at startup. This scheme is simple but very powerful, since protocol modifications or software
upgrades just require loading a modified OS file. Hardware based systems would have to be replaced or discarded. |
INTELLIGENT ARCHITECTURE
Up to four cards can be installed in one PC and operated simultanously. That gives you 2048 DMX channels. |
DRIVER SUPPORT
Programmers are doing a hard job. To ease the burden of programming, we supply drivers, demos, source code samples
and pre-compiled librarries for several languages and programming environments. The card comes complete with a manual
and a CD containing demoi programs for an instant start. |
